BIO

Rico Berger is a German-born artist, illustrator and fashion designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. His work is an exploration of his emotional landscape, unfolding like a visual diary: sometimes his portraits are soft and moody with fine lines and pink accents, other times they are vibrant and almost explosive. Through his figurative work, he questions traditional ideas of masculinity in our society: to be tough, to be strong, to not show emotion. Rico breaks with these expectations and allows the men in his artworks to be vulnerable, sensual and emotional.
